Stone began in 2003 as a Web Design and Interactive shop. Soon after, we realized the potential of search optimization and marketing for our clients — combining Strategy, Creative Services, Web/App Development, and now Web Marketing into a comprehensive offering.

Mark Lipowski | Partner | Strategy

With an effective mix of marketing, strategy, and interactive experience, Mark fills the role of Client Strategy Lead. His approach to the work is based upon the simplest of philosophies: Deliver exceptional value to the client and enjoy the process.

Over the last 14 years, Mark has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of the Mid-west’s major brands including Volkswagen, Dow Corning, and General Motors. With an undergraduate degree from Cornell and an MBA from Michigan, Mark fully understands that the classroom is no substitute for real world experience.

Joel Beals | Creative

Joel received his MFA in Medical Illustration from the University of Michigan, focusing on interactive design, 3D animation, and digital illustration. His website design and interactive pieces have captured some of the industry’s most coveted awards, including the One Show Interactive, Adobe SOTD, and local and regional Omnis.

Over the past 15 years as an Art and Creative Director, Joel has produced online creative for Sprint, John Deere, Hostess, Applebees, Ford, Volkswagen, General Motors, Mitsubishi Motors, Carhartt, Blistex, and Dow Corning among others.

Joel resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his wife and three children.
