They're good! And I noticed two things: 1. they're all structured subject/verb/complement or subject/verb/modifier; and 2. All are active voice ("I threw the ball" as opposed to "The ball was thrown by me.") Maybe that's just a grammatical way of saying, "get to the point." I like your style.
